Green SG Dakar, Trans Yellow Satin
Green SG Dakar has a solid body and a narrow, relatively thin neck. It provides a better balance. The originals are often front-heavy - ie when you don't keep neck, the guitar rotates around the shoulder strap.
A solid body also gives a firmer tone. There will be more punch in the tone. Despite a solid body, the guitar is light - weighs only 3 kg.
The guitar has a modern C-neck, thin, comfortable and fast to play on. The guitar is lacquered in a satin finish, so it will give a more pleasant feeling with increased playing comfort. The biggest difference is that the back of the neck is smoother - easier and faster to play.
For those of you who have not played on an SG, we just want to say - do it. It's a different playing experience. At first you get a little disoriented because the neck feels longer than normal but it is just a feeling. The difference is the shape of the body. You get a better access to the lower part of the neck than on many other guitars. It is easier to play high on the fretboard. In addition, an SG sounds cool. A more well-defined and a more raw tone than in a Les Paul. Double hot humbuckers create a great sound. The open pickups makes the sound clearer with a little more treble. The string separation gets better.
It is no coincidence that Angus Young in AD / DC plays on an SG. Our Green SG models are renowned for their high playing comfort. And added to that, they sound really good!
