Green ST 60th Vintage - Master Series, Surf green
Green ST 60th Vintage - Master Series
This is a guitar which gives the classic "STRAT" sound from 1965, with good pressure and a lovely high end. The attack is massive and string separation is super. 60th Vintage has not only a nice clean tone, it is in fact also excellent for distorted sounds.
It is especially the PU;s that give the guitar its distinctiveness, Johan Lundgren's handwired 60s Vintage Pickups are made in the same way and with the same type of components that of the original made pickups in the 60 's. Alnico 5 magnets, handrounded edges, fiber plate for bobbins and cottonisolated cables. The pickup is wrapped with correct 0, 063mm (AWG 42) isolated copper wire. The insulation is plain enamel. The bridge PU is wrapped with more wire to make up for the lower stringmotion there. Made in Sweden.

About Green ST. 60th Vintage-Master Series:
"here, we were looking to build a guitar with a typical 60's sound. We have fitted Lundgren 60s Vintage Pickups in the guitar. Lundgren has recreated the tone from 1965 onwards. It provides a caracter of sound such as The Edge, Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer and Mark Knopfler. We took the freedom to mix a little of both eras, the 50's and 60's. One of the models is lacquered in Surf Green which we think is so neat....though it's a color that remind of the 50's. And we chose a maple fretboard which might be more typical 50's. But it has its points to mix the 50's and 60's. The 50's guitars are not too suitable to distorted sounds. And the maple fretboard gives a bit more treble. It is an exciting blend."
