Green Super Strat - Comfort Series really stands out sound-wise. With its humbucker in the bridge position and double hot single coil pickups or hot singecoil / Humbucker in the middle and neck position, it has the power to take on traditional humbucker guitars. But even though it has a powerful tone, it still sounds like a strat with its typical sound.

It is striking what a difference there is in output when comparing to a regular single-coil strat. There is a lot of grunt in the pickups. In comparison with a Les Paul, it's not really as moody in the tone, a little clearer, a bit more treblish. It increases the variations in the tone.

The Green Super Strat is easy to play with both clean and distorted sounds. We tried some blues playing with the neck PU and it delivered a warm, beautiful sound, fuller than the normal for a strat. The bridge PU is very sensitive to distort. We finds the sound is reminiscent of a SG, which we appreciate here at NordSound. It really makes a beautiful rock tone.

There is good quality woods in this guitar, very resonant. The body is made of alder from the United States. Also US maple for the neck. Fretboard in Rose Maple Wood. This is a good alternative to Rosewood, which unfortunately is endangered. The guitar has a very nice looking lacquer with a beautiful depth, usually found only on more expensive guitars. The guitar is in fact more beautiful in reality than in the pictures.

The neck has a C profile and is both narrow and relatively thin. The guitar has a low action - really nice to play.

Do you like strat guitars but want a powerful and mighty sound, likea little bit towards a Les Paul - yes, this is the guitar for you. And do not be fooled by the modest price - this is a very competent strat. Do you want to get the most out of the guitar you choose the handwound Swedish Lundgren pickups.
