Unlike the traditional Stratocaster model, the JS450 features a specially shaped neck joint, a recessed solo valve and a Wilkinson fused two-point tremolo pickup.

The instrument's jack has been moved to the side of the body and the volume and tone pots have been moved away from the strings to keep them out of the way. The player's liveliness is ensured by a bone nut, rare in this price range, which allows the strings to slide without any problems, and by the Jeti's own lock tuning mechanism.
