We all know that sometimes, less is more, so here we present the Carl Martin Plexitone Lo-gain pedal.
Whether you want to push your amp’s natural overdrive into the sweet spot, or give a little extra colour to your tone which is definitely the British Black and Gold, the Carl Martin Plexitone Lo-gain Pedal hits the mark.

The Carl Martin Plexitone Lo-gain will make single coils sing, and give humbuckers extra punch. Stack it with your other pedals to give you extra boost and smooth out your overdrive, the Carl Martin Plexitone Lo-gain gives your sound that Plexi character.

The Plexi Lo-gain also incorporates our new DC-DC converter circuitry, so the pedal can be powered by a regulated 9V Power Supply but will still operate on the same +-12V level as the original AC powered PlexiTone. This allows us to use the same high quality components which provide the same tone and headroom that make the CM Pro-Series stand out from the rest!

• Battery: The PlexiTone Lo-gain does not accept the use of battery, only external power supply. Power consumption: max. 62 mA
• Power supply: 9 V DC (regulated), 100 mA minimum, 2.1 mm female plug, center negative (-)
• ATTENTION: Please Use DC Power Supply Only! Failure to do so may damage the unit and void the warranty.

The Carl Martin PlexiTone Lo-gain is an excellent sounding overdrive pedal with Plexi genes. In addition to the exemplary processing, it can come up with a dynamic overdrive, which is indeed in the low-gain range, but that doesn't mean that it can't rock properly! On the contrary: Rich blues / rock solos are a real pleasure with the PlexiTone Lo-gain. Thanks to the tone pot, the abundant heights can be tamed very well and adapted to the respective instrument.
