Green Fat Bob, Dark Amber Satin

Green Fat Bob is a semi-acoustic guitar with a large hollow body. It is both larger and deeper than our other semi-acoustic models. The body is built of solid wood. The sides and back are made of basswood and the top of spruce. We chose to have a middle section of wood to stabilize the body and reduce the risk of feedback - which can be a problem in hollow body guitars.

Acoustically Fat Bob has a big sound - not as loud as an acoustic guitar but not far from it. Connected to the amplifier, it comes to its fullest - a warm, large and lovely sound. The clean and "crunch" sounds are absolutely amazing. You don't want to stop playing. It is possible to turn up a lot of overdrive but there is a limit. If you turn too much, it doesn't sound great. This limit comes earlier than on our other semi-acoustics.

Green Fat Bob is great to play. The neck is relatively narrow and thin (see dimensions below). The string action is comfortably low - yet no fret buzz. The entire guitar is finished in matte lacquer, which also enhances the playing comfort. Also, it looks great!

This is a guitar that stands out both in appearance and sound.
