HMS-Guitars ”ScaT-RoLL” handwound pickups

These pickups are definitely handmade - either hand cranked with a manpowered machine or scatterwound with an electric winding machine. They are open sounding, clear, musical and make a perfect fit on every HMS electric guitar.

I mostly make humbuckers and P-90 style pickups - as well as classic Tele- and Strato- pickups.

My pickups come undressed or dressed normally in Nickel covers. Many are Unplated Nickel (raw) but Golden and Chrome covers are also available - obviously my customers choice comes first.

These pickups are installed as standard in the HMS handmade electric guitars but if you’re really keen to get your hands on these exquisite pickups and their unique sound, they can be installed on any guitar. You can most certainly do it yourself or have guitar tech or service to do it for you.
